5 Stars First time ordering from Ozzy's Appizq and I'm impressed! I got a pepperoni pizza delivered and it showed up in under 45 minutes--hot, fresh, and smelling amazing. The flavor was on point: crispy crust, just the right amount of cheese and pepperoni, and they even included parmesan and crushed red pepper packets (a nice touch you don't always get). Also, shoutout to the box design--super clean and stylish. It's clear they put thought into the whole experience. Definitely planning to order again soon. Highly recommend if you're looking for quality pizza and fast delivery.

As someone born and raised in Connecticut, I am very familiar with New Haven style pizza (e.g. Frank Pepe's). From the moment I stepped in the staff were welcoming and friendly. One of the staff members was tossing pizza dough in the air with a smile and the person who took our order had great energy. High ceilings, plenty of tables and chairs, plus a beautiful mural of the owner's dog on the wall was a sight to see. I ordered the pepperoni pizza for takeout and it took around 12-15 minutes, worth the wait. I took it home and ate it so fast. Thin crust, not too greasy, and just the right ratio of cheese to pepperonis. I cut out the top of the pizza box and have it displayed on my wall as a souvenir. The great customer service + attention to detail in their restaurant, their food, and their packaging is the reason for the 5 stars. I can't wait to go back to CT and try their New Haven spot. Plus, I really adored their painted benches outside. Including their Yankees one :)

I think this review is premature but I'm going to write it anyway. It was a slightly rainy day and I was really craving pizza. After endless scrolling on apps I remembered my good friend wanted to check out this Ozzy's Apizza place. At first I chucked and said - Apizza, that's exactly what I want lol Sadly it was about 8:45p and they were closing their doors at 9p BUT to my surprise they still were able to make and serve us our pizzas. They didn't let us eat inside (totally understandable as we were late). Now the pizza... I typically frequent Jon and Vinny's and they have a pizza called the LA woman and I LOVE it because it's just dough and red sauce with a dollop of cheese so I obviously ordered the Liotta and it was TO DIE for. Funny enough I tried eating it right after it got out of the oven and I DO NOT RECOMMEND because the sauce flew right off. I still ate it and it was soooo yummy! But more just a heads up. The second pizza we got was a half pepperoni and a half pepperoni and mushroom and paired it with their hot honey! Now the honey was a little thicker than I'm used to (looking more like a hot sauce with honey vs honey with hot sauce) but it was to die for. I can't wait to come back! There's also LOADS of seating. a few tables inside and maybe like 6 big picnic style tables (that fit about 6-8 people) outside. LOVE IT.

This place is legit! Thanks to Chris and company for a great pie! Took it to go and it stayed nice and warm. Went with the regular cheese and did olives and mushrooms on one side. Everything was right. The crust was perfect with the right amount of char. The undercarriage was cooked perfectly. And the sauce was delicious with just the right tang. I miss New Haven pies and am so happy to have a new fave in LA! Run to this place.

This pizza spot has such unique, fun vibes. The pizzas do take a bit if you're ordering there (instead of ahead), but they're custom made right then (so are fresh as ever). Really quality pizza for a good price! Good to know - you can't buy by the slice (it's full pizzas only).

My friend grew up in Connecticut and has been saying for years that New Haven has the best pizza in the US. He found out about Ozzy's and told me it really holds up to the East Coast standards. So I tried it myself, never having been to CT. This place has the best pizza I have ever had in my life. There must be a different technique out in Connecticut because this was truly delicious. East Coasters have a tendency to criticize Los Angeles for having lousy pizza options. I'd invite any and all of them to have a slice (or eight) of Ozzy's pies and keep that criticism in tact. The crust is nice and crisp, perfectly charred. The cheese and sauce seem like they were created from ingredients I've never tasted before. 10/10! The staff is also super friendly and there is lots of free parking available in the adjacent garage. This is a business that deserves to grow and thrive. Check it out!

Ozzy's Apizza is a refreshing addition to the NoHo Commons. About 20 years ago, the Ozzy's space was part of an upscale grocery store (How's) that is now 24 Hour Fitness. The space was eventually turned into a chain pizza place that closed due to the pandemic, and then Ozzy's moved in. With only two locations (NoHo and New Haven, Connecticut), an adorable mascot, and fresh components for their pies, Ozzy's is a unique, higher-quality pizzeria than its predecessor. I've tried two selections: plain cheese and a Zupp, Italian sausage with red sauce. I added jalapenos to the latter, and it was a phenomenal pizza. Very thin bottom crust, crunchy edge crust, just enough cheese, ample sauce, nicely distributed toppings, amazing flavour. "Ozzy" is a black chihuahua with his own agent. His likeness is emblazoned on a giant wall mural in the restaurant, and on the very metal black takeaway pizza boxes. The human staff members are friendly and efficient. The pizzas are pricey, but worth the quality, quantity, and quirky fun of a special neighbourhood joint that proves to be a worthy anchor of the NoHo Commons.

I had been wanting to try Ozzy's for some time, and I was craving Pizza! I hadn't had much experience with New Haven style pizza so I was super curious what that even meant. Walking into the business, I love the vibe! The mural of the owner's dog on the wall is so epic. The business is named after him! The folks making the pizzas and working the register were so kind. They pretty much only have pizza on the menu and like a couple salads. I went with the S+M pie but added sausage. I'm a fan! I like the thin crunchy crust and the amount of sauce was perfect for me. I'm a sauce girlie! Props for Ozzy's for bringing delicious pizza to NoHo. I will definitely be back! When ordering takeout, expect to wait 15 mins or so, depending on how busy they are. There is plenty of seating both inside and outside! I can't believe I didn't take a picture of my actual pizza because I devoured it.
